What’s the Process for Working Together?

You’re ready to take the plunge and work with me to build a beautiful new website - or overhaul an existing one. But what exactly is the process you can expect when you contact me about Web Design?

Consultation: After your first inquiry, I’ll get in touch and we’ll schedule a quick (FREE) intro call. This will allow me to get a preliminary idea of your business, what you need, etc.
Contract: After the consult, if we both decide it’s a good fit and choose to move forward, I’ll send over a contract for you to sign. Typically, a 50% deposit is due before the start of the project, and the 50% balance after completion and prior to delivery of your project.
Discovery: For Strategic Launch and Authority Build clients, we’ll schedule a time to meet (via Zoom/Google Meet or in person if you’re in North Central MA) - whatever works best for you and your busy schedule - and go over all the details about your website in a high-level Discovery Intensive. I’ll compile this into a Brand Brief that will serve as my roadmap for the website build.
If you’re a Full Transformation client, this is where we perform your Brand Genesis™, building the strategic DNA that informs every pixel of the site. (If you've already completed your Genesis, we'll use your Playbook to map out the user journey and conversion goals.)
Execution: Once I have the brief/Playbook, three things will happen:
- We’ll gather your brand assets. Since the Full Transition package includes high-level copywriting and brand alignment, we’ll take the lead on the messaging so your site sounds as professional as it looks.
- I’ll get to work on your website! I will keep you updated and informed on progress, and you can reach out to me anytime with questions, comments, coffee…
- We’ll schedule an “intensive” for the near future (again, in person or via Zoom/Google Meet).
Intensive: Instead of weeks of back-and-forth emails, we dedicate a focused real-time session to perfect the details together. It’s collaborative, efficient, and ensures the site is exactly what you envisioned—no guesswork required.
Delivery and Happiness: We don't just hand over the keys and leave. You’ll receive a custom training session so you feel empowered to manage your new asset, plus 14-60 days of post-launch support (depending on package) to ensure everything is running perfectly.
